Note: There are several different ways that the B sections of this dance have been interpreted over the years, all of which fit rather well. The interpretation chosen below is one way.
I.
A1 1-4: Meet all a Double and fall back.
A2 1-4: That again.
B1 1-2: Women meet, giving right hands into the center.
B1 3-4: Men meet, joining them, giving their right hands.
B1 5-8: Then each Man turn his Partner by the right hand, falling out to your places.
B2 1-2: Men meet, giving left hands into the center.
B2 3-4: Women meet, giving their left hands.
B2 5-8: Then each Woman turn her Partner by the left hand, falling back to your places.
II.
A1 1-4: Side Right with your Partner.
A2 1-4: Side Left with your Partner.
B1 1-4: 1st and 3rd Couples meet and fall back.
B1 5-8: 2nd and 4th Couples meet, then take your Opposite by the right hand and change places, falling into each other’s places.
B2 1-4: 1st and 3rd Couples meet and fall back.
B2 5-8: 2nd and 4th Couples meet and change places as before.
III.
A1 1-4: Arm Right with your Partner.
A2 1-4: Arm Left with your Partner.
B1 1-4: All join both hands with your Partner. Swing your hands inward, then out, then back in and break off, turning backs to each other to face your Corner.
B1 5-8: Then kiss your Corner twice.
B2 1-8: Swing hands with your Corner, turning back to kiss your Partner twice.
