Note: This dance appeared along with “Cold and Raw” in the 7C & 8th editions, with the same tune but different dance instructions. “Juice of Barley” was called “Cold and Raw” in the 9th to 16th editions.
A1 1-4: 1st and 2nd Couples go back-to-back with your Partners.
A2 1-4: Both Couples take hands with your Partner and turn once around.
B1 1-4: Men go half a Figure 8 between the two Women (cross and go around) to end in each other’s places.
B1 5-8: All clap hands, then all four take hands and go quite round.
B2 1-4: The Women do the like.
B2 5-8: All clap hands, then all four take hands and go quite round.
Repeat down the line.
