Note: The timing of this dance does not allow for the Honouring and Leading forward and back. Those would have been done during the introduction.

Note #2: “Make a pass” is a fencing move, meaning to lunge or thrust. Take one measure to mime thrusting a rapier toward the other person.

I.

A1 1-4: Side Right with your Partner, continuing past to end improper.

A2 1-4: Side Left with your Corner.

B1 1-2: Clap hands once and make a pass at your Corner.
B1 3-4: All Turn Single.

B2 1-4: 1st Couple turn each other one and a half times around, ending in the 2nd place proper.

Repeat down the line, the others doing the same, until all come back to their own places.

II.

A1 1-4: 1st Couple take hands facing up the hall and hold them up while the 2nd Woman passes underneath.

A2 1-4: Switch hands and face down while the 2nd Woman passes back through again.

B1 1-2: All three clap hands and make a pass all together.
B1 3-4: All Turn Single.

B2 1-4: All three take hands and go once around.

Repeat with the 2nd Man, then 3rd Woman, 3rd Man, and so on down the line, the others doing the same as soon as two Couples are available.
