From about 1710 to 1728, some additional “Dancing Master” books were published in the style that Playford had established, but with other dances, some that were already being danced and some written specifically for those books in a formulaic style. The quality was not as good as Playford’s, but they are included on this website to provide information on ALL the books that called themselves Dancing Master.
Each link currently contains a scan of the original and modern-notated music. Dance instructions are slowly being added. (There are 546 dances in this list, so it will take a while.) Numerous mistakes in the music scores and in the dance instructions have been corrected.
